Ingredients

  • 1 bunch spring onion (s)
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 250 g quark, (low-fat quark)
  • 200 g double cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoon crème fraîche
  • 1 tablespoon herbs, (frozen garden herbs or fresh)
  • 5 slices bread (wholemeal bread), large
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the spring onions into thin slices. Of which 1 onion, cut, set aside (for garnish).
  2. Chop the remaining spring onions into small pieces.
  3. Cut the chives into rolls, also put a spoonful of chives aside.
  4. Mix the quark with cream cheese and creme fraiche to a creamy mass. Stir in the spring onions, chives and herbs and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Halve the bread slices and spread with the spread.
  6. Garnish the sandwiches with the spring onions and chives that were set aside.
