Strudel with Poppy Seeds and Walnuts

Delicious strudel roll with poppy seeds. To make the dough especially thin for him, it is not rolled out but pulled. Nuts and apricot jam are also added to the filling.

Melt the butter over low heat.
Sift flour. Make a funnel. Pour in water and warm oil. Salt.
Stir with a spoon.
From flour, 150 g of butter, water and salt, knead a not very tough dough.
Divide it into 2 parts and leave for 15 minutes, covered with a cloth.
Cooking the filling with poppy seeds and nuts.
Boil the kettle. Pour poppy seeds with boiling water (1 l) and boil for 10 minutes.
Crush the nuts with a rolling pin.
Squeeze poppy seeds, add powdered sugar, nuts, jam (leave some for decoration).
Mix everything thoroughly.
The filling is ready.
Turn on the oven.
Roll out each part with a rolling pin and stretch. Stretch the dough again in different directions, leave for another 10 minutes.
Then sprinkle with melted butter, lay the filling.
Roll into a roll with a napkin. Grease a baking sheet with oil. Grease the roll with butter and place on a baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the oven on the middle shelf.
Bake a roll with poppy seeds and walnuts for 10 minutes at 230 ° С, then 20-30 minutes at 200 ° С.
Strudel with walnuts and poppy seeds is ready.
Decorate the finished strudel with poppy seeds and walnuts with jam. Chop hot and chill.
