Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk
  • 150 g soft wheat semolina
  • 3 packs vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 200 g quark
  • cinnamon sugar, optional

Instructions

  1. Bring the milk to the boil, add the semolina, sugar and salt and bring to the boil again while stirring. Then set aside and let it soak for 5 minutes so that the mass thickens nicely.
  2. When the semolina has cooled down a bit, mix in the quark and form a buffer with your hands (diameter approx. 6 - 7 cm). Fry these in a pan with a little fat on both sides until golden yellow. If you want, you can sprinkle the pancakes with cinnamon sugar.
  3. Apple compote or hot cherries go well with it.
