Ingredients

  • 6 slices wholemeal toast
  • 400 ml soy milk (soy drink), vanilla flavor
  • 4 tablespoon, heaped flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ cinnamon
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the soy milk, flour, cinnamon and salt in a shallow bowl. Place the toast slices in the liquid and soak them completely on both sides. Fry the soaked bread slices in a hot pan with the oil on both sides.
  2. Optionally serve the poor knights with banana slices, maple syrup and vanilla soy milk.
