Instructions

  1. Wash the chard leaves and cut into strips, also cut the stalks into pieces approx. 1 cm wide. Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan with approx. 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and first add the chopped stems, after approx. 3 - 5 minutes add the cut leaves and cook for about 2 minutes. Skim off the chard and rinse with cold water.
  2. Put the Swiss chard in a salad bowl and crumble the cheese over it. Add 4 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of vinegar, as well as a few squirts of lemon juice (this makes the chard more digestible) and a crushed clove of garlic, season with salt and pepper and mix. Cover and leave to stand in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
