Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with a sheet of greased parchment paper. Separate eggs, beat egg whites until stiff. Beat the yolk and sugar until frothy, slowly add the water. Then add the flour with the baking powder and mix well. Fold the egg whites into the mixture and distribute the dough evenly on the baking tray. Bake at 250 ° (top and bottom heat) until the dough is nice and dark yellow (if necessary, do a needle test).
  2. Take out of the tube, turn out onto a clean tea towel, spread with jam and carefully roll into a roll (while the dough is still warm).
