  • 160 g suar
  • 160 g flour
  • 0.25 ¼ teaspoon, leveled baking powder
  • Jam (strawberry jam or other favorite jam)
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. First preheat the oven with top and bottom heat to 225 ° C.
  2. Separate the eggs neatly and beat the egg white with 4 tablespoons of cold water very stiff, then slowly trickle in the sugar, beat until the mixture is very glossy, then briefly stir in the egg yolks, only stir until the egg yolks are combined with the egg whites. Now sift the flour and baking powder over it and carefully fold into the egg mixture with a flat whisk or wooden spoon. Then spread the dough evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking foil / parchment paper.
  3. Bake immediately in the hot oven, approx. 8 minutes, the dough should feel soft and dry on the top. Then immediately turn it out onto a foil or tea towel, spread it with your favorite jam and roll it up tightly. Place on a stollen plate, dust with powdered sugar if you like and cut off the edges.
  4. If you want to fill the roll with cream for a change, it just has to be cold, then you can still roll it easily without breaking! It`s very quick!
