Ingredients

  • 500 g meat for oulash half and half
  • 375 g onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 375 ml water
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 1 apple
  • 125 ml sweet cream
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • sugar
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Brown the goulash in hot oil. Fry the onions and the crushed garlic clove briefly. Season with salt, pepper and paprika, deglaze with 3/8 l boiling water and cook covered for 40 minutes.
  2. Then let the pickled sauerkraut and the chopped apple stew for 30 minutes. Finally, whisk 1/8 l cream with 1 tablespoon flour, bind the dish with it, simmer for a few more minutes and season with salt, pepper, sugar and paprika.
  3. Side dish: bread dumplings.
