Tangerine Snack with Carrots, Cheese and Eggs

Such an appetizer, similar to tangerines, looks very impressive and realistic and will definitely decorate your festive table. Prepares in minutes.

Ingredients
For decoration (optional):
- Bay leaf – 3-4 pcs.
- or fresh dill – 1 sprig
Directions
- Boil hard-boiled eggs (8 minutes) and carrots until tender (20-25 minutes). Cool and clean.
Grate eggs and cream cheese on a fine grater.
- Add garlic, passed through a press, salt, black pepper and mayonnaise to the eggs with cheese. Other spices can be added to taste.
- Mix everything well. You should get a dense mass, from which it will be convenient to form balls. I got 4 balls.
- Rub the boiled carrots on a fine grater and remove excess moisture (it is convenient to do this with gauze).
- Cover the cutting board with cling film or a bag. Put the carrots in a thin layer on the film.
- In the middle we put a ball formed from a cheese and egg mixture.
- Carefully cover the ball with grated carrots.
- And we form a tangerine.
- We do this with the whole carrot and cheese-egg mass.
- Ready-made “tangerines” of carrots, cheese and eggs can be decorated with a bay leaf or a sprig of dill.
