Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into slices (approx. 0.5 cm). Then mix the potatoes with the crème fraiche, season with salt and pepper and place in a baking dish. The potatoes must be completely coated with the mixture.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and let the potatoes cook for about 45 minutes (also depends on the type of potato). Stir in between.
  3. Meanwhile, finely chop the onions and braise them in a pan with the bacon. Cut the reblochon into slices. When the potatoes are done, pour the white wine over them and fold in the onion and bacon mixture.
  4. Finally, cover the mixture with the cheese slices and bake again for about 7 minutes until the cheese has melted nicely. A fresh salad and a glass of wine go well with it.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
