Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 40 g yeast
  • 200 ml water, warm
  • 50 g butter, soft
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 200 g raisins
  • Milk for brushing

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and salt. Crumble the yeast into the water, stir and add to the flour along with the butter and egg. Knead everything into a smooth dough, finally knead in the raisins. Cover and let the dough rise until the volume has doubled (approx. 45 minutes). Then knead again and shape into a roll. Divide into 16 pieces and shape all into rolls. Cover the rolls and let rise for 15 minutes. Brush with milk and bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C until the surface is golden brown.
