Teriyaki Fish with Noodles Ingredients

For the teriyaki sauce:

  • Soy sauce – 1-2 tbsp
  • Honey – 1 tbsp
  • Ginger (grated) – 1 piece (2.5 cm)
  • Mirin (rice wine) or dry sherry – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – a pinch
  • Cod fillet (skinless) – 4 pcs. (150 g each)
  • Japanese noodles (udon) or rice noodles – 250 g
  • Green onions – 4 pcs.
  • Cilantro leaves – zhmenka
  • Lime wedges

Teriyaki Fish with Noodles Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Combine the ingredients for the teriyaki sauce. Pour the prepared sauce over the fish and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Place the fish in a roasting pan and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Pour boiling water over the noodles and let sit for a few minutes. Drain and toss with chopped green onions and cilantro. Serve the fish with noodles and lime wedges.
