Ingredients

  • 2 fig (s), fresh and ripe
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 100 g suar
  • 50 g mustard (Dijon)
  • 1 pinch citric acid

Instructions

  1. Cut the figs into small pieces, put them in a saucepan, mix with the sugar, stir in the mustard and pour in the apple juice, cook all the ingredients together for 3 minutes with the added citric acid and puree with a hand blender.
  2. Instead of apple juice, I use my own apple / quince juice 1: 1
  3. Goes very well with cheeses such as Gouda or mature camembert.
