Thai Chicken in Coconut Milk

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 400 Grams (legs)
  • Lemon juice – 1
  • Water – 200 Milliliters
  • Soy Sauce – 50 Milliliters
  • Ginger – 1 Teaspoon (grated)
  • Garlic – 3 Cloves
  • Honey – 1 Teaspoon
  • Coconut milk – 150 Milliliters
  • Curry – 1 Teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 1

Directions

  1. Prepare all the ingredients you need to make the coconut milk Thai chicken.
  2. Peel and grate the ginger and garlic.
  3. Put garlic, ginger, honey in a bowl and pour in lemon juice and soy sauce. Mix everything well until the honey dissolves.
  4. Wash the chicken legs and cut them into pieces. Place in a bowl of marinade, stir and let sit for one hour.
  5. Pour vegetable oil into a skillet and heat over medium heat. Place the chicken pieces in the skillet and cook for 7 minutes.
  6. Add curry and 50 ml water, stir, cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and pour in the coconut milk and remaining water.
  8. Close the lid and cook for another 20-25 minutes, until tender. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
