Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast
  • 1 cup milk, lukewarm
  • 0.75 ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ pack feta cheese, possibly 2
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Dissolve half a cube of yeast in the lukewarm milk! Put the flour in a bowl, mix with the salt, add the yeast milk and the oil and knead with the dough hook to a smooth dough. Shape the dough into balls the size of a table tennis ball. Mash the feta and mix with 1 egg and 1 egg white and a little pepper! Press the balls flat, put the feta mixture on top and close (I always make small rectangles and first fold in the short sides and then the long ones, so that small sticks are created, but that is up to you). Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. The egg yolk with the tablespoon. Mix the milk and brush the fat pockets with it! Now you can let it go a little longer, but it doesn`t have to be! Bake at 180 degrees top / bottom heat for about 30 minutes!
