Ingredients

  • 4 slices toast
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 0.5 ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 200 ml milk, possibly a little more
  • parsley
  • basil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup, or teaspoon tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 2 tablespoon clarified butter or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, breadcrumbs, milk and tomato ketchup together and season with the spices and herbs. Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the egg mixture while stirring until it is creamy and light golden yellow. If it gets too firm, add a dash of milk. In the meantime, toast the bread and spread it with the spread and serve.
  2. Sometimes a variation on scrambled eggs, fried egg toast and Co. The consistency evokes associations with vegan spreads.
