- 6 ½ tablespoon semolina (durum wheat semolina)
- 1 ½ teaspoon butter or margarine
- 1 ½ liters water
- 1 bunch soup greens
- 0.5 ½ cube broth, fat
- salt and pepper

- Toast the semolina in a pan in butter until light brown. Fill up with water, add soup greens and simmer for 30 - 45 minutes. Season to taste with the spices.
- We always have potato pancakes and apple mash as a side dish at home.
