Ingredients

  • 1 medium cucumber (s)
  • 500 g tomato (s)
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 500 ml broth
  • 1 bunch basil, cut into fine strips
  • 1 pinch (s) black pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumber, cut in half, remove the seeds and cut into small pieces.
  2. Peel and cut the tomatoes into eighths.
  3. Heat the butter in a large saucepan. Braise the tomatoes in it. Add 500 ml (spicy) broth and let it simmer for 30 minutes over high heat. After 15-20 minutes add the cucumbers.
  4. In the end, be careful that nothing burns! Add pepper and basil.
  5. I also serve fish and a wild rice mixture.
