Instructions

  1. Thaw the puff pastry. Cut the tomatoes crosswise, scald with boiling water, peel off the skin, cut into slices.
  2. Place the puff pastry in a cold-rinsed springform pan, pull up about 2 cm at the edges. Press down and straighten the dough. Prick the pastry base several times with a fork. Spread the tomatoes on top in a fan shape. Season each layer with salt and pepper.
  3. Finely grate the cheese and whisk with the fat, cream, eggs and oregano and pour over the tomatoes. Bake in the preheated oven (200 ° C, top / bottom heat, middle rack) on the wire rack for approx. 35 - 40 minutes.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
