  • 500 g suar, brown
  • 150 ml vinegar, possibly more to taste
  • 2 tablespoon mustard, mild
  • 1 tablespoon spice mixture
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Nutmeg and
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

  1. Peel the vegetables, cut into thin slices and cook in a saucepan for 30 minutes. Strain carefully and add vinegar, mustard and sugar. Let it thicken on a low flame. Season to taste with salt and the spices.
  2. Fill into clean bottles or glasses and seal them airtight.
