Ingredients

  • 500 g tortellini
  • 600 ml cream (alternatively 1 cup cream and milk mixed)
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg (s), whisked
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley
  • 250 g cheese (Gouda), rated
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini in plenty of salted water according to the instructions on the packet until al dente. Drain and drain.
  2. In the meantime, wash the pepper, clean, quarter and cut into fine strips. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Wash the parsley, shake dry and chop without stalks. Dice the ham. Drain the corn well. Preheat the oven to 200 °.
  3. Melt the butter in a pan. Fry the pepper strips with the ham, onion and garlic while stirring. Add corn and parsley and fry everything for about 5 minutes. Pour in the cream, bring to the boil and then simmer for a few minutes over medium heat. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the beaten egg.
  4. Grease a baking dish. Mix the tortellini with the sauce and fill the pan. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
