Instructions

  1. Wash the runner beans and cut off a little at the top and bottom. Then cut into pieces about finger-length.
  2. Bring the water, pelati, stock powder, garlic, turmeric, tomato paste, pul biber and onions to the boil. Let the beans simmer in it for approx. 25 - 30 minutes (depending on thickness). If necessary, season with a little salt and carefully stir in the dried mint. Spread on two plates and serve.
  3. Boiled potatoes go well with it.
  4. Tip: As a non-vegan, it is also very good to use as a vegetable side dish with meat.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
