  • 3 tablespoon tea, loose cocoa peel tea
  • 1 liter water, cold
  • 300 ml soy milk (soy drink), (or milk), warm
  • possibly syrup, (agave syrup), honey or stevia (for sweetening)

Instructions

  1. Put the cocoa cup tea in a saucepan with the cold water, bring to the boil once and simmer over a low flame for about 15 minutes. Add the warm soy milk (or milk) and drain.
  2. If you like, you can sweeten the tea as you like, but the tea is usually drunk without additional sweetness.
  3. I`ve known this tea from my grandmother since I was a child. It tastes slightly chocolaty and is very warming. My grandma always made it with normal milk, but I like it better with soy milk.
  4. Cocoa shell tea can be bought in health food stores.
