Ingredients

  • 250 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • 50 g suar, brown
  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast
  • 750 g flour, type 405
  • 20 g soy flour
  • 5 g salt
  • 1 pinch cinnamon powder
  • 80 g mararine
  • 110 ml water
  • 150 g raisins

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the sugar and yeast in the soy milk and let stand for five minutes. Sift the flour, soy flour, cinnamon and salt into a mixing bowl. Add the margarine, water and the milk mixture and knead into a smooth dough for at least five minutes. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Then knead the raisins into the dough and shape a loaf from the dough. Press the raisins that are visible on the outside into the loaf with one finger, the resulting extinguishers close as they rise. Place the loaf on a baking tray lined with baking paper and cover with a tea towel. Spray this with water and let the dough rise at room temperature for about 60-90 minutes until it has enlarged significantly.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° top / bottom heat and bake the mares in the lower third of the oven for 30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack (preferably overnight).
