Vegetable cabbage rolls for the winter

Ingredients

  • White cabbage – 1 head of cabbage
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Hot pepper – 1 pc.
  • Ground pepper – to taste

For the marinade:

  • Water – 500 ml
  • Salt – 1.5 tbsp
  • Vinegar – 60 ml

Directions

  1. Let’s prepare products for vegetable cabbage rolls for the winter.
  2. Blanch the cabbage, remove half of the leaves, let them cool.
  3. Finely chop the remaining cabbage.
  4. Peel and grate the carrots. Chop the bell pepper.
  5. Pour oil into a pan, put chopped cabbage, carrots, bell peppers. Fry over medium heat for 5-8 minutes, cover the pan with a lid. At the end add the ground pepper and stir again.
  6. Put the fried vegetables on the cabbage leaf.
  7. We fold the sheet with the filling.
  8. Let’s prepare the marinade. Pour water into the ladle, add salt. When the water boils, pour in the vinegar and immediately turn off the heat.
  9. Put stuffed cabbage in sterile jars, on top – hot pepper cut into circles. Fill cabbage rolls with the prepared marinade.
  10. We put the jar in a pot of water, on the bottom of which we put a small towel. We sterilize the jar for 20 minutes.
  11. Then we screw it up with a lid. Vegetable cabbage rolls are ready for the winter.
