Instructions

  1. You drain the vegetables and knead them with the cheese and oatmeal. This squeezes out peas, beans and corn and creates a gray-green mass.
  2. Add the chopped garlic and use any spices you like. I always mix everything I have on hand, e.g. salt, cayenne pepper, various herbs, paprika powder, etc. The nice thing is that they can taste different every time.
  3. Now shape the veggie mixture into small dumplings and add some cream cheese in the middle so that the balls are not too dry.
  4. Put them in a pan with a little olive oil or butter and let them fry until they are a nice brown color.
  5. Mashed potatoes go well with it.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
