Ingredients

  • 350 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 cube yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 350 g flour
  • 150 g oatmeal
  • 200 g walnuts

Instructions

  1. Mix the crumbled yeast with honey and salt in a bowl. Mix the flour, oatmeal and coarsely chopped walnuts and mix together with the yeast mixture. Knead the dough well. Let rise under a cloth in the warm for about 30 minutes and knead well again. Shape the dough into a round or oblong bread as you like, place on a baking sheet and cover again for approx. 15 minutes. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° for about 30-35 minutes (put a small bowl of water in the oven). After baking, cover the bread and let it cool down on a kitchen rack.
