Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes as usual as jacket potatoes and then peel them. Cut into slices while still warm. Put in a bowl and keep warm in a hot water bath. Pour vinegar and meat stock over them.
  2. Peel and finely chop the onion, pour over the potatoes. Dice the bacon. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the bacon until golden brown. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Then pour the hot bacon sauce over the potatoes. Mix gently. Let the lettuce soak in a hot water bath for about 20 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, wash, pat dry and chop the herbs. Sprinkle over the salad before serving.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
