Septime is a new format for a modern Parisian restaurant. No tablecloths, experimental menu. Not a traditional restaurant, but a “creative studio”, as the owner himself says about the place. For guests – set menu and carte blanche menu. Given the ongoing excitement around this place, a table must be reserved in advance, ideally two weeks in advance. The establishment has a Septime Cave wine bar, where you can also buy a bottle of wine with you.

The newly refurbished 1920s Bachaumont in Montorgueil has a restaurant of the same name, designed by Parisian designer Dorothée Meilichzon. A glass roof, an open kitchen, arched doorways, colorful chairs, and austere dining tables – in one space, she combined Art Deco elements with modern design.

The Jacopo restaurant should be visited at least to look at its interiors, designed by Russian designer Natalia Belonogova, for whom this project was the first large-scale work in Paris. It is located in a busy tourist area a stone’s throw from the Champs Elysees: you will find it immediately thanks to its bright blue marquises. In addition to the restaurant itself, there is a secret bar in the basement, designed in the style of an old Parisian apartment.

The Girafe restaurant designed by Joseph Dirand is located in the very heart of Paris – in the former Palais du Trocadéro, which is now called the Palais de Chaillot. The place is famous not only for its design and cuisine but also for the most breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. This is the second project of the French design star with restaurateur Gilles Malafosse, with whom they previously worked together on the equally famous LouLou restaurant in the northern wing of the Louvre.

The Italian restaurant Le Schiap has opened just a few steps from the Champs Elysees at the new 5-star Hôtel de Berri. Once on the site of the restaurant, there was a workshop of the fashion designer and style icon of the 1930s Elsa Schiaparelli, which served as a motive for the painting of the walls by the famous illustrator Hippolyte Romain on the theme of the life of Parisian bohemia of the early 20th century. Over a cup of coffee, it is very exciting to guess the faces of the characters depicted on the wall.

British designer John Whelan, the founder of Guild of Saint Luke, has one passionate passion: he is restoring the interiors of iconic French brasseries of the early 20th century, returning them to their historical appearance and former glory. Among his works in recent years are the interiors of the Brasserie Floderer in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, the Brasserie Excelsior in Reims, and, finally, the Bouillon Julien restaurant on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis in Paris. This is a place steeped in history. The establishment is located in a building built in 1906 by the architect Edouard Fournier and is one of the finest examples of Art Nouveau. Over the years, various celebrities loved to visit here – from avant-garde artists to Edith Piaf, who often dined here with her lover, boxer Marcel Serdan at table number 24.
