Ingredients

  • 500 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 300 ml water, if necessary a little more
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 25 g yeast, fresh
  • possibly grains

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the water, add the remaining ingredients and mix together. Now knead vigorously until a smooth dough is formed. Then cover the dough with a cloth and let rise for about 15 minutes.
  2. Then divide the dough into approx. 15 equal pieces and shape them into rolls. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and cover with a cloth and let rise again.
  3. If necessary, you can sprinkle the rolls with grains (flax seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds or similar).
  4. Preheat the oven to 240 ° C and place an ovenproof bowl with water in it. The rolls need to be baked for about 18-20 minutes.
