Instructions

  1. Amount for approx. 1.8 liters of liqueur.
  2. Put the schnapps with the vanilla pods cut lengthways and the vanilla flavor in a sufficiently large vessel with a wide opening and an airtight seal (2.5 to 3 liters). This is then left to infuse for 3 days. Then the wild berries are added frozen.
  3. The batch is now placed in a dark, cool place for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks the sugar is added.
  4. The batch is then left to draw for a further 3.5 weeks. The batch should be shaken regularly until the sugar has completely dissolved. Normal refined sugar dissolves much faster and tastes great too.
  5. After a total of 5 to 6 weeks, the liqueur can be filtered and bottled.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
