  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 500 g wheat flour, (whole rain)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  • Flour for the work surface
  • Milk, low-fat for brushing
  • Pumpkin seeds

Instructions

  1. Crumble the yeast, mix with sugar and a little lukewarm water and let rise briefly. Mix with flour, salt, oil and 300 ml of water. Knead well on a floured work surface, add a little more water if necessary. Shape the dough into a ball and cover and let rise in a warm place for an hour.
  2. Knead the dough well again, shape it into a loaf and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cover and let rise in a warm place, brushed with a little milk, for another 40 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Bake the bread on the second from the bottom for about 40 minutes. Brush with milk.
  4. If you want, you can knead a handful of pumpkin seeds into the dough.
