Ingredients

  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil, a little more
  • 500g flour
  • 1 tablespoon, leveled salt
  • 1 pack dry yeast

For the filling:

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Herbs Provence or
  • garlic

Instructions

  1. Pour the ingredients into the BBA in the above order. Program: yeast dough.
  2. After the BBA has done most of the work, all you have to do is remove the dough, cut it in half, shape it into elongated rolls and place them about 1.5 - 2 cm apart with a sharp knife up to about Cut in the middle.
  3. A little butter is spread into each slot (about a good knife point per slot) and finally everything is sprinkled with herbs from Provence.
  4. Now preheat the oven (top / bottom heat: 220 ° C). While the oven is preheating, let the baguettes rise again in a warm place. Then bake for about 20 minutes.
  5. Variation: Instead of butter and herbs from Provence, you can also mix soft butter with freshly squeezed garlic and spread it, so you have delicious garlic butter baguettes.
  6. The baguettes taste very good on their own, but also great with salads or for grilling.
