Ingredients

  • 750 g flour
  • 500 g suar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 450 g butter
  • 1 ½ kg apples
  • 3 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 600 g cream
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 3 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • possibly cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, salt and 370 g sugar. Add butter and egg yolk and make a crumble dough. Place 2/3 of the crumble on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press down as a base. Peel the apples and cut into fine strips, drizzle with the lemon juice.
  2. Whisk eggs, cream, 130 g sugar and vanilla sugar together. Spread the apples on the dough and pour the egg-cream mixture over it. Spread the remaining sprinkles over the mixture. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top, depending on your taste. Bake at 175 degrees for about 45 - 50 minutes.
