- 250 g butter
- 250 grams sugar
- 3 egg (s)
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- 375 grams flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2 packs vanilla sugar
- 200 ml milk
- 1 kg apples
- 50 g almond slivers
- 1 pinch (s) cinnamon powder

- Melt the butter and mix with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Preferably with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Next add the eggs. Mix the flour with baking powder and stir in small amounts. Then stir well and loosen the dough a little with the milk. The dough should slowly slide off the spoon. Finally stir some cinnamon into the batter. Peel and core the apples, cut into thin slices and place them in rows on the dough. Mix 50 g sugar with cinnamon and the almond slivers and sprinkle over the apples. Bake in the oven preheated to 200 ° C for about 40 minutes until the apples are golden yellow.
