Ingredients

  • 500 g soup meat
  • 250 g potato (s), mainly waxy
  • 300 g soup veetables
  • 1 medium onion (s), or bunch spring onions
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Vegetable broth, granulated
  • possibly bacon or ham rind

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes. Clean and dice the vegetables. Peel and dice the onion, or cut the spring onions into rings.
  2. Bring the meat to a boil in a saucepan with cold water. Add the rind to it. Then reduce the heat and simmer for about 1 hour.
  3. After 1/2 hour add the vegetables, potatoes and onions and increase the heat until they come to a boil. Then reduce the heat again and continue to simmer. When the meat is done, take it out and dice it.
  4. Also cut the rind into small pieces and put it back in the soup or serve with a knife and fork from the pot at the table. Season the soup with salt, pepper and the vegetable stock. Then put the meat back in the soup, heat it up and serve.
  5. You can also serve rolls, baguettes or bread.
