  • 1 cup crème fraîche, with herbs
  • 180 g ham (Black Forest) or Parma ham
  • 250 g camembert (s)
  • some chives, fresh or frozen
  • 0.5 ½ glass cranberries

Instructions

  1. Depending on whether you cut the baguette into slices or halved, the quantities can vary. The quantities I have given refer to baguettes cut in half. You will certainly not need more for discs.
  2. Sliced the baguette is perfect as an appetizer or as a starter.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  4. Either halve the baguettes or cut into slices and brush with crème fraîche. Top with the ham. Cut the camembert into not too thin slices and place on top of the ham. Cut the chives into fine rolls and sprinkle on the baguettes.
  5. Now, if possible, place the baguettes on the wire rack and not on the tray, otherwise the base won`t be really crispy. After 15-20 minutes in the oven, the cheese should have melted slightly and the baguettes should have gotten some color.
  6. Take the baguettes out of the oven and place the cranberries on top. If you like the cranberries warm, you can add them 2 minutes before you take the baguettes out of the oven.
  7. A salad also tastes good with it.
