Ingredients

  • 800 g pork fillet (s)
  • 380 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 2 cups cream
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 300 g cheese (Gouda), rated
  • Bacon (breakfast bacon) to wrap
  • Wine, white
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the pork fillet into approx. 1 cm thin slices and wrap each slice with thinly sliced bacon. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into leaves. Line the bottom of a baking dish with the mushrooms and place the wrapped pieces of meat on top.
  2. Sauce: Bring 2 cups of cream to the boil, season with approx. 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, pepper and salt. Add a dash of white wine and dissolve grated cheese in it. Let it boil down very thick, if necessary bind with a little flour. Pour this pink sauce over the meat and bake in the oven at 180 to 200 degrees for about 35 minutes.
  3. This goes well with lamb`s lettuce and baguette.
