Ingredients
- 5 large stewed cucumber (s), peeled, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion (s)
- 259 g ham, raw, cut into cubes
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch (s) sugar
- 1 dash white wine vinegar
- 0.5 ½ bunch parsley

- Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes, then fry it with the bacon in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sprinkle a pinch of sugar on top and let it caramelize a little. Add the cucumber cubes and stew. Then deglaze with a little vinegar and let simmer briefly. Fill up with a little water and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Then season with salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with the parsley and serve.
- Boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes are served with it.
