Ingredients

  • 500 g pork sausae
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 bell pepper (s), green
  • 250 g carrot (s)
  • 200 g celery
  • 2 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 500 ml meat stock, instant
  • 1 large can (s) beans, white, with soup greens
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the sausages into pieces approx. 2 cm long, peel the onions and dice finely. Clean and wash peppers, carrots and celery. Cut the bell pepper into strips, carrots and celery into slices.
  2. Heat the fat in a large saucepan and brown the bratwurst pieces in it on all sides. Remove and lightly sauté the vegetables in the remaining hot fat. Pour in the broth and bring to the boil briefly. Then add the white beans and the bratwurst pieces and cook on a low heat for about 20 minutes. Fold the chopped parsley into the stew before serving.
  3. If you want, you can serve it with freshly baked rolls and possibly tomato salad.
