Ingredients

  • 1 jar broad beans
  • 500 g potato (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 packet bacon, diced into small pieces
  • 1 cup processed cheese with herbs
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • some pepper
  • possibly parsley
  • Savory, dried
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the onion into small cubes and peel the potatoes and cut into approx. 1 x 1 cm cubes.
  2. Fry the ham cubes in the oil. Add the onion cubes and fry a little. Then add the broad beans with juice (!) And the potato cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Bring the potato and bean mixture to the boil and then simmer for 30 minutes (20 minutes in a pressure cooker).
  3. When the potatoes are done, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the processed cheese, cream and finely chopped parsley. Season to taste and, if necessary, add seasoning. If you like it a little stronger, you can add savory.
