Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 300 ml water, lukewarm (approx. 45 °)
  • 12 g salt
  • 42 g yeast

Instructions

  1. Knead all ingredients to a smooth dough and cover and let rise for approx. 60 minutes.
  2. Knead again by hand and form 10 rolls of approx. 80 g each and grind round. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and cover with a damp cloth. Let rise for about 20 minutes and then cut into them.
  3. Preheat the oven to 230 ° C fan oven. Since the rolls need steam to bake, place a cup of water in an ovenproof container at the bottom of the oven.
  4. Bake the rolls for about 12-15 minutes. They open again and become nice and plump. When they are the right color, take them out and place them on a grid covered with a cloth to cool.
