  • pepper
  • some mustard, medium hot or horseradish, grated
  • Flour
  • 2 egg (s)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oil or clarified butter for frying

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the smoked pork, pepper and spread thinly on both sides with mustard or horseradish. Turn in flour, pull through the beaten egg, then roll in the breadcrumbs, press down lightly. Fry until golden brown on both sides in the heated fat. If necessary, let them drain on kitchen paper.
  2. Potato salad (without mayonnaise), green salad or coleslaw go well with it.
