Ingredients

  • 2 packs puff pastry (roll, from the refrigerated shelf)

For the filling:

  • 300 g broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1 carrot (s), diced
  • 100 g corn
  • 1 bell pepper (s), finely chopped
  • 200 g meat loaf
  • 50 g salami
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 50 g cheese, spicy, rated
  • 1 egg (s), for brushing

Instructions

  1. Boil the broccoli florets and diced carrots in salted water until they are firm to the bite, then place in a colander and drain well.
  2. Cut the Leberkäse and salami into small pieces. Place in a bowl with broccoli, carrots, corn, bell pepper, garlic and cheese and mix everything well.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry, distribute half of the filling on top, fold in the pastry and press firmly.
  4. Place the strudel on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with the baked egg and bake at 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Serve with a salad.
