Cauliflower Stewed with Bacon and Tomatoes, Topped with Cheese

Cauliflower stewed with bacon and tomatoes, with melted cheese – it’s delicious! It is simply impossible to resist such a riot of bright flavoring colors. Juicy vegetables, aromatic fried bacon and the most delicate cheese create a perfect ensemble. Try to cook.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower – 700 g
  • Bacon – 150 g
  • Red onion – 1 pc.
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Hard cheese – 50 g
  • Fresh parsley – 4-5 branches
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Pour water into a saucepan and put on heat.
  2. We wash the cabbage and disassemble it into inflorescences.
  3. Add some salt to the boiling water and put cabbage in it. Cook the cauliflower for 7-8 minutes, then put it in a colander.
  4. Cut the bacon into strips.
  5. Peel and chop the garlic.
  6. In a skillet in vegetable oil, fry the bacon and garlic for 3-5 minutes. Transfer the bacon and garlic to a plate and leave the fat in the pan.
  7. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
  8. In the pan in which the bacon was fried, fry the onion for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Cut the tomatoes into arbitrary slices.
  10. Put cauliflower, tomatoes and bacon with garlic in a pan with onions. Salt and pepper.
  11. Mix and cover with a lid. Simmer cauliflower with bacon and tomatoes for 7-8 minutes.
  12. Three cheese on a fine grater. Finely chop the parsley.
  13. Sprinkle the finished dish with cheese and parsley.

Cauliflower with bacon and tomatoes and cheese is ready.
