Ingredients

  • 250 g cherry (s), sweet
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), untreated, add the juice
  • 100 g marzipan paste
  • 3 tablespoon kirsch
  • 150 g sour cream or sour cream
  • 6 tablespoon milk
  • possibly mint or lemon balm leaves to decorate

Instructions

  1. Wash, stem and stone the cherries. Steam with 2-3 tablespoons of water, the lemon juice and sugar over a mild heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Mash the marzipan with a fork. Finely grate the lemon peel and add to the marzipan with the kirsch. Vigorously stir in the sour cream (or sour cream) and stir in the milk until smooth.
  3. Puree the sauce.
  4. Distribute the cherries in dessert bowls and cover part of the cherries with the marzipan sauce.
  5. If necessary, decorate with mint or lemon balm leaves.
