Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking soda
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 125 g chocolate, white
  • 100 g butter
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 20 ml milk
  • 1 glass cherry (s)

Instructions

  1. Place paper cases in the hollows of the muffin tin and preheat the oven to 200 ° C top and bottom heat or 175 ° C fan oven.
  2. Drain the cherries well. Dab with kitchen paper if necessary.
  3. Sieve the flour, starch, baking powder and baking soda and mix well.
  4. Melt 50 g of white chocolate in a double boiler and gradually stir in the finely chopped butter. Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, sour cream and milk together until frothy and then mix with the liquid chocolate and butter. Now add this to the flour and stir in quickly.
  5. Finally, roughly chop the rest of the white chocolate (75 g) and carefully fold into the batter with the drained cherries.
  6. Pour the batter into the molds and bake for 25-30 minutes. When the muffins are golden brown, take them out of the oven, let them cool and enjoy.
