Chicken Fricassee with Mushrooms

Basically, fricassee (fr. Fricassee) is a stew made from white meat in some kind of white sauce. The recipe for chicken fricassee with mushrooms and cream is very simple and quick. Be sure to try the delicious chicken fricassee.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 150 g
  • Champignon mushrooms – 100 g
  • Cream 12% – 100 ml
  • Butter – 20 g
  • Hard cheese – 40 g
  • Flour – 20 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Ground nutmeg – to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into strips.
  2. Preheat the pan over medium heat, melt the butter in the pan.
  3. Cut the mushrooms into large slices.
  4. Lightly roll the chicken fillet in flour and send it to a preheated pan with butter. Fry until white on all sides and until light golden brown (about 1.5-2 minutes).
  5. Then add the mushrooms.
  6. Fry for 1.5-2 minutes, salt, add pepper and nutmeg.
  7. Add cream.
  8. Leave the chicken with mushrooms in the creamy sauce on the lowest heat for about 10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  9. We rub the cheese on a fine grater.
  10. At the very end of cooking, add the cheese, remove the chicken fricassee from the heat and stir.
  11. Chicken fricassee with mushrooms is ready.
