  • Chicken thighs – 4 pcs. (700 g)
  • Champignon mushrooms – 700 g
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Sour cream – 1 glass
  • Butter – 25 g
  • Vegetable oil – 4 tbsp
  • Ginger root – 2 cm
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Curry – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Dried Italian herbs – 1 teaspoon
  • Dried dill – 0.5 teaspoon

  1. Prepare foods for chicken fricassee with mushrooms in sour cream sauce.

  2. Coarsely chop the onion.
  3. Cut the mushrooms into 2-4 pieces (depending on size).
  4. Heat butter and oil in a heavy saucepan, fry chicken thighs for 5 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a plate and season with salt on all sides.
  6. Put onions and mushrooms in the same saucepan in oil. Salt.
  7. Fry until the liquid that the mushrooms are allowed to evaporate. And then add the grated garlic and ginger. Cook for about 1 minute more.
  8. Place the chicken on top of the fried mushrooms. Sprinkle with the spice mixture.

  9. Pour in sour cream. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer at a low boil for 40 minutes.
  10. Chicken and mushroom fricassee, in sour cream sauce, ready. The best side dish for this dish is mashed potatoes, but the porridge is also good.
