Chicken with Pumpkin in Sour Cream Sauce

Chicken fillet stewed with pumpkin in sour cream sauce is an original dish from the autumn menu, which is made from simple and affordable ingredients. A special highlight of this dish is peanut butter, which gives the sauce a pleasant nutty flavor.

Directions

Peel the onion and cut it into quarters. Peel and chop the garlic. Heat the sunflower oil in a skillet. Sauté the onion and half the garlic until the onion is translucent.
Add pumpkin, peeled and seeded, and cut into medium cubes to the skillet.
Fry the pumpkin over high heat for 5 minutes.
Add chicken fillet, diced about the same size as the pumpkin.
Fry everything together until the chicken fillet changes color. Season the chicken and pumpkin with salt and pepper.
Add sour cream and peanut butter.
Pour in boiling water, stir until sour cream and peanut butter diverge.
Simmer pumpkin and chicken in sour cream sauce, covered over low heat for about 20 minutes, or until pumpkin is tender (tender).
Add the remaining garlic and chopped dill.
Stir the dish and remove the pan from the stove.

Chicken with pumpkin in sour cream sauce is ready to serve.
